Accessibility.
Every visitor should be able to read and use this site comfortably. Here is what is built in, and how to tell us when something is not working for you.
Prepared August 28, 2026
Fiona Rooney Health wants every visitor to be able to read, navigate and use this website comfortably, whatever tools they browse with. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we treat that as ongoing work rather than a box that gets ticked once.
What is built in
- Semantic structure: real headings, landmarks, lists and labels, so screen readers can move through pages the way sighted visitors scan them.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images.
- Full keyboard operability, a visible focus indicator, and a skip link to main content on every page.
- Motion that respects your system's reduced motion setting automatically.
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA for text.
The accessibility toolbar
Every page carries an accessibility button in the lower left corner. It opens a panel where you can raise the text size, switch to high contrast, underline every link, swap to a plainer typeface with wider spacing, and stop the site's motion entirely. Your choices are saved on your device and follow you across the whole site.
Known limitations
The booking calendar and the chat window are provided by third party platforms, and their internals are not fully under our control. We pass accessibility feedback about them to the vendor. If either blocks you, email us and we will book you or answer you directly instead.
Feedback
If any part of this site is hard to use with your setup, we want to know, and we will try to fix it or provide the content another way. Email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject line.
